Established in 2021, Heartfelt Organization is a community-focused NGO committed to promoting gender equality, social justice and the well-being of women and children across Tanzania. We are committed to fostering a community where every person, women, men and children can live free from violence and discrimination.
We promote education that helps reduce domestic abuse and mistreatment, while actively advocating for the rights of women and children as a foundation for community growth. We empower women to take on leadership roles and participate meaningfully in decision-making processes.
We also work to strengthen public awareness of gender-based violence and its impact, inspiring collective action for positive social change. Furthermore, we support communities to engage fully in development initiatives that contribute to long-term, sustainable progress.
Our mission is to empower women and children by educating them about their legal rights, providing support for reporting of offences, recovery programs and accountability systems for perpetrators of violence.
